everything in windows is upsidedownwhen i boot it up the dell is ok but then the windows logo and my desktop are all upsidedown? how can i fix that?

Open Question: why is my cd/dvd drive reading some disks but not others?

this just happen lately, I have a dell dimension E510 and it's about 1 year old... the cd/dvd rw drive used to work perfectly but now it only reads certain disks and not others... most of the time it doesn't read anything... is it dying? or do I just need to clean the head with a cd/dvd cleaner?

I just got a Dell XPS M1210 with Windows Vista and I'm having a bit of trouble with my WiFi. I guess a good term is that my connection is shaky. I have Linksys Wireless-G router and right now my laptop is the primary device using the connection. When I get on the internet with my laptop I run diagnostics and get the message saying "Windows confirmed that www.yahoo.com is currently online, but is not responding to connection attempts at this time" Then further says along the lines of "This usually means a firewall is running somewhere between the two computers and is blocking HTTP access". I went to my firewall settings on my desktop computer and added TCP port 80 and that didn't help. I have no real idea what could be wrong. I can use the internet and for hours occasionally but it goes in and out. Please help me, I will so appreciative.
