Open Question: How can I tell if my Dell Dimension 2350 Series computer has the ability to copy pictures onto a CD?

i was trying to update the speaker driver on my dell inspiron 3700 laptop, and it did not work. after this, my sound driver was deleted. the speakers still work, but i have no control over volume. Also, when i use the built-in mute button to mute the speakers, it works but when it is on mute, the computer beeps whenever something that would normally play a sound appears(such as a windows error) Does anyone know how to fix this? Updating the driver will not work, as it failed before

Open Question: I recently installed a new Dell Demension E520 Vista windows and I need help with AIM.?

When I transferred my information from my old Dell ME I think it failed to download my old Aim. Is there a way I can still use my old AIM or do I have to have to sign up again with new name and new password. I am thinking the old AIM may be on my new computer somewhere and I just don't know where to look for it. Thank You, Patty

Open Question: Which would you buy?

Hi, I need a new laptop a.s.a.p. I purchased a Toshiba Satellite and had to return it twice because both the original and replacement screens contained dead pixels. I'm now in between these three, ThinkPad X60s, HP Pavilion tx1000z, or a Dell XPS M1210.

What matters to me most is that the pc is very light weight and reliable.

Open Question: dell laptop upgrade?

i got a dell inspiron e1505 laptop for christmas, so its only a few months old, and i was wondering how easy it is to upgrade the video card, im not saying i want to do it myself, im just trying to see if its plausable. the video card doesnt work for newer games like half life 2 and i will be moving away soon and want to be able to play these. thanks for your help/
